Hunting

In Creekclan's Alaskan territory next to a creek, we have many different things we hunt and techniques for hunting. We are actually known for successful hunting very well, and is a notable part of our culture. Elders will often tell kits exciting stories about adventures they had while hunting, instead of memorable battles and fights.

Goslings
Only for experienced warriors to hunt, goslings (baby geese) are hard to catch. It will never matter how unintelligent the babies are, the mothers of them are always the pain in the paws to deal with. If you get even slightly close to their offspring, they'll chase you down! And I mean it!

Strategies for hunting goslings:
-Two or more warriors hunt together. One acts as bait while the others snatch the babies.
-Double-hunt. Grab a few warriors (usually 4-6) to capture both the goose and her goslings. Somebody acts as bait, and the others hunting will hide. The warrior being chased will lead the mother right next to the bushes and the rest of the group will all leap on her. Lastly, get the babies. Why not kill two bird with one stone? ;)

Frogs
A basic animal to hunt, frogs are very common along the waters of Creekclan. Often found hiding among rocks or reeds, they're fairly easy to catch as long as you have sharp claws that can hook their slimy skin.

Strategies for hunting frogs:
-Sneak up on them. It's really that simple.

Voles and Shrews
Fairly easy to catch, voles are shrews are located in the forests and occasionally near the water. A good hunting practice for apprentices.

Strategies for hunting voles and shrews:
-Sneak up on them.
-Wait for them to come out of their little nests and then pounce.

Snowshoe Hares
Found in the forests of Creekclan, snowshoe hares are fast-running and alert animals. They are very hard to catch. Although, if you do happen to catch one, be proud of yourself because it will feed many hungry cats.

Strategies for hunting snowshoe hares:
-RUNNNN
